Who’s holding the holder?

Sometimes slowing down is not an option. Many of us are juggling jobs, kids, parents, projects.
Often there’s no room for us to let any of it go. So, who’s holding the holder of it all?

Are you allowing yourself to receive support? Do you have a friend, a coach, a place in nature- where you can go to refuel? To receive nurturing? To cheer you on? Or to wipe your tears? Adding this in allows you to fill up and go back out and show up in your life resourced.

I’m done with living into the outdated belief that it’s better to give than receive. That platitude has taught us to forget our own needs and cut us off from replenishment and joy. Part of my ability to recover from my over-giving and under-receiving ways meant breaking free from this cultural conditioning. The truth I now live by and help other Recovering Wonder Women with is that it’s better to listen to Inner Guidance than abandon our needs.#recoveringwonderwoman
